Human Resources Analyst (Principal)
Duties
- Maintains office supply inventories.
- Prepares, submits, and monitors office depot orders.
- Handles all areas of supply and order requisitions, including preparation, submission, follow-up, etc.
- Conducts first-level review of monthly contract invoices.
- Maintains CDM's "Letter of Interest" database.
- Aids in compiling information and analysis for year-end processes and other fiscal oversight and reporting functions.
- Serves as a backup to the Fiscal Staff Specialist for designated tasks.
- Prepares department-specific reports requiring communication with various parties, both orally and in writing.
- Provides coverage as a backup, handling the front desk, including receiving walk-ins, making phone calls, and processing mail.
- Assists with special projects as assigned within the scope of the classification.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience demonstrating the following abilities:
- Excellent computer skills using Microsoft programs such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project.
- Gathering, compiling, and summarizing data.
- Analyzing problems and making recommendations.
- Developing and maintaining good public relations.
- Working independently.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Prioritizing time-sensitive duties and meeting deadlines.
- Exhibiting strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Interacting well in various settings and with all levels of personnel.
- Displaying strong analytical skills with proven ability in problem identification, information gathering, and resolution development.
Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for Staff Assistant include:
Excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft Programs such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project.
Gather, compile, and summarize data.
Analyze problems and make recommendations.
Develop and maintain good public relations.
Work independently.
Excellent time management skills.
Prioritize time-sensitive duties and meet deadlines.

Skills
Staff Assistant requires proficiency in Microsoft products and/or other county applications, such as: CHARTS, Advantage, CAPS, ERMI, IRIS, etc.
