Human Resources Administrator

About the role

indiGO Auto Group is seeking a full-time, in-office Human Resources Administrator to join their growing team based in Houston, TX. This is an entry-level opportunity to work with a cohesive and supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment efforts across multiple dealership locations, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer administration, and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and support recruiting strategies.
• Conduct initial phone screens, candidate outreach, and interview coordination as needed.
• Attend and participate in college career fairs, networking events, and recruiting initiatives.
• Care for onboarding activities, new hire documentation, and new hire packages.
• Maintain accurate employee records and support HR compliance initiatives across the organization.
• Perform regular audits of personnel files, HR documentation, and required compliance items.
• Monitor completion of required training and compliance programs and follow up with managers as needed.
• Aid in employee engagement efforts, including employee events, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
• Collaborate with the HR team on special projects related to employee experience, process improvement, and organizational growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and recommend innovative solutions.
• Code HR-related invoices and support department expense processing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
• Previous HR Internship or HR Administrator experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Ability to travel.
• Open to learning and adapting to change.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now preferred but not required.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software are essential. Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is a plus but not required.
