About the role

The Manager, HR Administration is responsible for managing all US HR administrative aspects of the Human Resources function. This will be a process-focused role, NOT an HR Business Partner or HRIS position. This role will analyze, develop, and implement processes and improvement strategies across all HR backend transactional services. This role will manage our HR Administration team to maintain and improve all major US backend services.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective transfer of information between HR stakeholders, Payroll, IT, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Legal, HRIS, etc., supporting all HR administration.
  • Partner with the Sr. Director, HR, in the maintenance and updates to HR policies and procedures.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR efficiency across all transactional services.
  • Ability to analyze, compile accurate data and present reports to the HR team. Including but not limited to PTO reports, employee census reports, and required training completion reports, ensuring accuracy.
  • Partner in the management of internal and external audits. Responsible for the documentation and oversight of all internal controls governing HR administration.
  • Administer compensation analysis to ensure pay is aligned appropriately with roles in the organization.
  • Partner with HRIS on the implementation of HR Admin processes.
  • Function in a back-up capacity in the absence of the HR Administration team.
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced systems skills, especially in MS Office Suite/Excel; experience with HR systems or D365 is a plus.
  • Prior experience in HR process improvement with strong analytical skills that resulted in measurable outcomes.
  • The ability to communicate clearly, consistently, effectively, and professionally through presentations.
  • The ability to project manage various initiatives to successful completion.
  • The ability to operate in a transparent and collaborative fashion.
  • Familiarity with NY, CA, GA and NJ employment law.
  • Project Management experience, expert in MS Excel data gathering and reporting, familiarity with multiple ATS/HCM solutions from past work experience.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Entertainment and/or Media industry experience preferred.

Pay

*Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000 USD annually

Schedule

This role is remote with occasional onsite responsibilities.
