counsel employees and managers on employee relations issues
interpret policies and procedures correctly and apply them consistently
communicate clearly
return voice mails and respond to emails by the end of the day received
stays abreast of employment law and HR policy changes
problem solve using a needs-based approach
conduct retention visits and develop retention plans
prepare documentation and responses to unemployment compensation claims
provide harassment free/diversity inclusive workplace education, professionalism training, and workplace violence education
complete special projects as assigned

This position is responsible for employee relations for assigned areas. Duties include:

day-to-day employee relations consulting with management and staff
routine and complex investigation and resolution of workplace issues and related special projects
administer personnel policies including Employee Relations, Training and Development, Recruitment, Benefits Administration, FMLA, and other special projects

Full-time position: 80-hours bi-weekly, Day shift
