About the role
Manage the daily operations of a Walmart Logistics facility by implementing business plans, ensuring compliance with HR policies, maintaining quality and safety standards, and developing associates and leaders.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with individuals or groups (customers, suppliers, associates) verbally and in writing.
- Implement the business plan by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and ensuring associates complete required training to achieve facility goals.
- Manage daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll by executing and refining recruiting and staffing initiatives.
- Research and address employment-related concerns for applicants, associates, and managers.
- Ensure compliance with company HR policies by reviewing and managing the accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents.
- Assist in the implementation of and ensure compliance with HR systems and applications.
- Research and gather data for HR-related issues.
- Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures.
- Monitor compliance, distribute and maintain procedures, and support documentation.
- Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns by listening, consulting with others, and determining corrective actions or recommendations.
- Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling policies and procedures.
- Identify training and development needs and participate in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders.
- Manage and coordinate training (e.g., new hire orientation, CBL modules, web-based training, virtual classroom) for Distribution and/or Transportation associates.
- Identify training and development needs, monitor completion of training curricula, present and facilitate training courses, and monitor schedules, deadlines, and compliance.
- Coordinate and complete job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, identifying and communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and addressing improvement opportunities.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and utilizing the Open Door Policy.

Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year's supervisory experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field
- OR 2 years' Walmart Logistics management experience
- OR 2 years' supervisory experience, including 1 year's experience managing human resource processes
- OR 1 year's Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Human Resources, Microsoft Office, supervising associates, training and facilitation, or Walmart Logistics Systems
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics
- Human Resources - Professional HR (PHR) Certification
- Human Resources - Sr. Professional HR (SPHR) Certification

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 - $98,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and stock.
