About the role

We are looking for a Human Resource Generalist to support the recruitment hiring process. This position would support the recruiting process fully.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the recruiting process
  • Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5pm onsite office based in St Petersburg FL with a 30 minute unpaid lunch/break period

Requirements

  • Computer, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel experience required
  • Sound knowledge of all HR processes (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, training, talent management etc.)
  • Experience with resume HRIS system required preferably ADP
  • Sound knowledge of full-cycle recruiting
  • Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills necessary
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills necessary
  • Experience in a Nonprofit environment preferred

Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant field required
  • 5 years of prior experience as an HR Recruiter/Onboarding required

Clear Criminal Background Check

  • Throughout employment with Suncoast Center and local checks prior to hire and annually along with DCF Level II prior to hire and as required by DCF
  • Must have valid Florida Driver’s License
  • Motor Vehicle checks prior to hire and annually with acceptable driving record maintained throughout employment
  • Reliable vehicle, valid registration, and valid vehicle insurance

Drug Screening

  • All Applicants would require a negative drug screening prior to hire and throughout employment
