About the role

The HR Director is responsible for strategic and tactical HR initiatives across multiple areas and/or lines of business. This role collaborates with business leaders on both strategic and tactical HR initiatives aligned with Option Care’s priorities by maximizing workforce effectiveness. Responsibilities include consulting on organizational design, compensation, succession planning, employee engagement, retention, and talent development. This position requires building relationships and influencing leaders at the Director level and above.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee evaluation and coordination of a broad range of HR programs, policies, and initiatives for assigned areas.
  • Partner with business leaders on HR-related issues including recruiting, onboarding, engagement, employee relations, performance management, development, rewards, and recognition.
  • Identify and drive organizational changes such as business model adjustments, restructures, severances, and redeployments.
  • Proactively evaluate organizational needs and execute full-lifecycle organizational change.
  • Drive succession planning and individual development to ensure identification, development, and retention of key personnel.
  • Ensure employment processes comply with state and federal laws and company policies; educate leaders on expectations.
  • Analyze HR trends in turnover, hiring, promotions, separations, and grievances to address unfavorable trends.
  • Align HR priorities with company vision to improve outcomes by lowering turnover, increasing engagement, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Execute special projects by clarifying issues, coordinating requirements, evaluating milestones, and adapting to changing assumptions.
  • Maintain understanding of relevant labor and workplace laws; coach team members on compliance.
  • Incorporate the company’s vision, purpose, and values into management practices for supported teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of HR experience with at least 5 years as an HR Business Partner.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of employment law (e.g., Title VI, ADA, FMLA, ADEA).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including analysis and reasoning.
  • Proven ability to create and drive partnerships, building trust and credibility.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • 30% travel required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.

Pay

Salary range: $129,386.61–$215,629.34, determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal equity.
