About the role

We are looking for a vibrant Human Resource Specialist to join our team, which specializes in the manufacturing of rotating electrics.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive work environment.
  • Aid in the development and implementation of performance management systems, including conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to employees.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate employee records and handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge, supporting career development and growth.
  • Manage HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and handling benefits administration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR roles, preferably in a corporate setting, with a people-centric approach.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

This is a full-time, on-site position in Arcade, New York.
