About the role
We are looking for a vibrant Human Resource Specialist to join our team, which specializes in the manufacturing of rotating electrics.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive work environment.
- Aid in the development and implementation of performance management systems, including conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate employee records and handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge, supporting career development and growth.
- Manage HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and handling benefits administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR roles, preferably in a corporate setting, with a people-centric approach.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay
This is a full-time, on-site position in Arcade, New York.
