Human Research Technologist - Surgery

This position is funded for 1 year; continuation past 1 year will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.

About the role

The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery in Hershey, PA is seeking a full-time Human Research Technologist to conduct faculty-led research projects. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in clinical and outcome research, knowledge of human subject protocols, and a commitment to data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Administratively support Dr. Eric Pauli on Human Subject Protection protocols and consent forms.
• Screen participants, collect, enter, and analyze data while ensuring data integrity.
• Serve as liaison between faculty and central research offices.
• Author manuscripts, journal publications, and abstracts as projects progress.

Requirements

• Associate Degree (or previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education).
• Demonstrated interest in clinical and outcome research.
• Knowledge of human subject protocols and data integrity.
• MD degree preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $40,608.00 - $58,836.00.
