Hubbell Rotation Program - Engineering

About the Role

The Hubbell Rotation Program (HRP) is a 3-year program for college graduates designed to provide accelerated exposure in various business functions, tailored to both company needs and employee interests. Participants will relocate to three different Hubbell facilities across the United States. While reporting to the Campus Program Manager, day-to-day assignments will come from local management.

The Engineering Rotation focuses on areas such as manufacturing/operations, design engineering, sales & marketing, or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Potential rotations in Lean Manufacturing, Design, Technology, Electrical, Software, Production, Project Management, Automation, or Inventory Control.
• Work across all functions to understand roles and responsibilities in the Product Development Process and drive execution of approved programs.
• Assess potential returns of identified programs and prioritize based on business needs.
• Collaborate with business leaders to scope, organize, and execute ideation sessions to expand the product development project pipeline.
• Understand Hubbell’s product capabilities, differentiation, and value proposition in the marketplace, including competitor analysis.
• Research and compare product offerings with competitors to identify gaps.
• Evaluate raw material inventory and recommend adjustments based on data analysis.
• Analyze historical product demand to determine optimal stocking levels for raw material extrusion.
• Potential participation in Kaizen events, machine set-up, standardization, and process streamlining.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively.
• Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm for working within constantly changing priorities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
