HTO - Parts Delivery Driver

About the role

The Parts Delivery Driver delivers customer parts with excellent customer service, maintains inventory control, and ensures a safe and secure environment. This role also involves warehouse duties such as stocking parts, performing cycle counting, pulling orders, processing dirty cores, and general warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to customers safely, efficiently, and on time
• Maintain proper inventory control and ensure accurate order pulls
• Load and verify orders for correctness before delivery
• Return cores for credit and process incorrectly ordered parts
• Stock shelves and maintain warehouse organization
• Build and maintain relationships with customers
• Resolve any erroneous parts deliveries promptly
• Adhere to all safety policies and company standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Forklift certified
• Some delivery experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• General knowledge of the trucking industry helpful
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic understanding of inventory management

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, bend, and twist regularly
• Climb and/or lift up to and over 80 lbs. frequently
• Constant visual requirements

Work Environment

Duties are performed inside and outside buildings, with exposure to dirt, dust, heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, odors, wetness, humidity, and sometimes darkness.
