Responsibilities

• Provide HSE orientation and onboarding training to contractors in English and Spanish.
• Perform daily safety inspections at the construction site.
• Monitor contractor activities and personnel, identifying safe and unsafe behaviors and conditions.
• Report issues to contractors and site managers, following up to ensure gaps are closed promptly.
• Conduct site safety inspections of elevated work areas, scaffolds, ladders, gas bottles, welding equipment, electrical cords, power and hand tools, safety harnesses, and other PPE.
• Participate in morning toolbox meetings.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of construction site experience in an HSE Technician or Supervisor role.
• Relevant certification or diploma in a construction HSE-related subject.
• OSHA 30 (Construction) certification.
• CHST, CHSM, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Excellent training skills with the ability to engage participants in interactive training.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Willingness and ability to work in the field at least 70% of the time.
• Positive attitude and teamwork capabilities.
• Must learn and abide by the Linde Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct, demonstrating honesty, integrity, professionalism in all communications, actions, and decisions.
