About the role

This role focuses on health, safety, security and environmental compliance within Valeo Group.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring legal requirements and other requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established and implemented, while checking that safety and security equipment is in compliance with requirements and in good condition
• Carrying out risk analysis and monitoring regulatory survey
• Establishing the site “Health, Safety, Security and Environment” operation procedures and overseeing their application
• Carrying out inspections and internal audits, making recommendations and specifying corresponding actions as well as the responsibility for implementing it
• Implementing and monitoring action relating to the handling of any non‑compliance revealed by the inspections, internal audits and external audits, taking the necessary investments into account
• Helping Valeo stay up‑to‑date with developments in HSE legislation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related field
• 3+ years of safety and environmental industry knowledge preferred
• Experience with and knowledge of OSHA workplace requirements and general industry standards
• Knowledge of OSHA injury reporting
• OSHA industry training
• Automotive manufacturing experience
