HSE Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations at Freudenberg USA's Lebanon, IN facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards
• Manage emergency response plans and conduct drills
• Train employees on HSE best practices
• Coordinate with external regulatory bodies to address non-compliance issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in HSE management or a related field
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
