HSE Manager
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Work collaboratively with all levels of the facility to establish and maintain a safety-focused culture.
- Liaise with Electrification Industrial Solutions' functional HSE leadership to support major initiatives while maintaining a 100% compliance rate with federal, state, and local HSE regulations for the Denver-Kingston facility.
- Contribute to the establishment and implementation of HSE procedures, systems, and programs for current and future undertakings to eliminate or minimize risk, mitigate incidents and injuries, and promote health and safety at the facility.
- Perform periodic compliance/management system audits and self-assessments at the facility to conform with federal, provincial, and IPS regulations, particularly those pertaining to air, waste management, and water.
- The primary goal is to minimize risk and liability while ensuring employee safety.
- Ensure that employees have access to effective mechanisms for addressing HSE concerns in a timely manner, and follow up as necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes, employee training, and HSE performance, while keeping computerized HSE metrics and records and taking part in companywide HSE meetings.
- Conduct periodic compliance/management system audits and self-assessments at the facility to ensure compliance with HSE and specific regulatory requirements concerning facility inspection permit parameters, among others.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Associate degree or Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or Environmental Science
- Minimum of 5 years' experience operational safety, compliance, and environmental programs in a manufacturing or service and repair facility
- Strong: oral and written communication, leadership, project management, organizational, analytical, and auditing skills
- Background in auditing to work instructions and standards, and with preventative maintenance activities
- Willingness to travel as needed and the flexibility to support multiple shifts as necessary

Pay Rate Details
$100,000 - $130,000 annually
