HSE Manager

About the role

Contract-to-hire HSE Manager position for a utility-scale solar + BESS project in Alamogordo, NM. The role owns the site HSE program and reports to the HSE Regional Manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain HSE and emergency plans
• Conduct risk assessments and special-risk work plans
• Manage training programs
• Perform audits and inspections
• Track non-conformities
• Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Oversee PPE program
• Manage environmental risk and release cleanup
• Ensure OSHA compliance

Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following pathways:

• Pathway 1: 5+ years construction HSE experience plus a safety degree or CSP/CIH/CHST certification
• Pathway 2: 7+ years construction HSE experience

Prior U.S. work experience is required. Utility-scale solar experience is strongly preferred.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 10 hours/day
• Saturdays as needed
• 8 weeks on / 1 week off rotation
