HSC Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Works closely with physician teams to advance research projects in children's mental health.
• Liaises with the Office of Clinical Research, Covenant IRB, and TTUHSC IRB.
• Reports on research and scholarly activities to research committees.
• Orients and instructs medical students in psychiatry research projects.
• Collaborates with faculty and residents to coordinate research within the Department.
• Prioritizes tasks based on study or office needs.
• Maintains a professional rapport and upholds TTUHSC values.

Requirements

• Master's degree or specialized academic training beyond the bachelor's level in a relevant field.
• One year of research experience.
• Knowledge of modern research practices, methods, and standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or specialized academic training beyond the bachelor's level in a particular field of science or engineering.
• One year research experience.
• Knowledge of modern research practices, the methods, resources, and standards thereof.
• Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.

Skills

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritizing assignments.
• Multi-tasking and detail-oriented skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, specifically MS Word.

Pay
