About the role

The Athletic Coach is responsible for developing athletes' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting physical fitness and sportsmanship. The Coach plans and leads practices, prepares athletes for competition, and supports their overall growth both on and off the field.

Requirements

• Completion of specific training as outlined by VHSL guidelines within one year of the first VHSL coach assignment with PWCS
• Annual completion of the PWCS Coaches Essential Bundle
• Maintenance of current certification in CPR/AED/First Aid
• Recertification of all mandated VHSL and PWCS training and certifications every 10 years
