HS Boys Assistant Coach & JV Coach

About the role

The school is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic assistant coach for both the high school boys soccer team and the junior varsity team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coaching and a proven track record in developing young athletes.

Responsibilities

• Support the head coach in planning and executing practices and games
• Work closely with players to improve their skills and performance
• Manage team logistics including transportation and equipment
• Attend all home and away games and practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in physical education or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Knowledge of current coaching techniques and strategies
• Passion for soccer and commitment to the growth and development of young athletes

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire players
• Proficient in using sports management software

Pay

The pay for this position is $45,000 annually.
