HS Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach

Performance Responsibilities

• Helps each participant achieve a fundamental level of skill, an appreciation for the value of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem.
• Guides individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the activity involved, working with the head coach.
• Schedules a regular program of practice in season, working with other coaches.
• Enforces sportsmanship behavior at all times and establishes penalties for breaches of such standards, working with other coaches.
• Supervises all away trips (motel and bus behavior), ensuring busses are cleaned up after each trip, and maintains cleanliness of coaching, training, and storage rooms.
• Recruits students for participation, adhering to Washakie County School District No. 1 School Board and Activities Department policies and procedures.
• Obtains and stays informed about WHSAA information and Wyoming High School Activities Association rules and regulations.
• Maintains First Aid/CPR certification.
• Maintains proper coaching certifications throughout employment at Washakie County School District No. 1.
