About the role
Maricopa County Human Resources is scaling up its HRIS Team and is seeking an HRIS (Workday) Analyst to support Workday Time and Absence configuration, reporting, and/or integrations. The ideal candidate will work on the HRIS team and collaborate closely with internal customers.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and recommend business processes and system changes and improvements
- Work closely with County stakeholders to understand and evaluate business needs and processes, and analyze the impact of system changes
- Conduct needs assessments, evaluate standard operating procedures, model process improvements, develop functional and process requirements, create process flow documentation, participate in implementation testing, and provide training to functional areas and staff
- Support production systems, including escalated research assistance
- Aid in integrations, including gathering requirements, development, testing, and creating and/or updating technical/functional documentation
- Aid in reporting, including gathering requirements, development, testing, migration, and creating and/or updating documentation
- Create user documentation to explain how to use Workday
Requirements
- Five years of demonstrated experience serving as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams on projects in Workday
- This includes requirements gathering, configuring, communicating/documenting information to technical and non-technical users, and working cross-functionally in support of Workday projects
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
- Experience supporting and configuring the Workday Time and Absence module
- Experience with Workday as a Time and Absence Administrator
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and verbal and written communication skills
