Bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology solutions, ensuring project outcomes align with business needs and objectives in the Human Resources department.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project sponsors, stakeholders, and end-users to elicit, understand, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Conduct meetings, workshops, and research to gather comprehensive information.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs.
- Create and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, process flow diagrams, and report mock-ups.
- Ensure all documentation is kept up-to-date and version controlled.
- Serve as a liaison among business units, technology teams, and support teams.
- Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate communication to ensure alignment.
- Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, often recommending how SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, or UKG can optimize these processes.
- Recommend solutions to improve business processes and system functionalities.
- Work closely with the HR Project Manager in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables for projects.
- Assist in the development of test plans and participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Provide support during project implementation and post-implementation phases.
- Analyze data to support business decisions and project directions.
- Translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a project-based environment.
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
- Experience working with project management software such as JIRA.
- Experience working on projects involving cloud solutions; familiarity with SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, or UKG is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
