About the role

The HR Support Specialist will contribute to the day-to-day operations that align our culture and teams with the strategic goals of the organization. This position will work closely with other members of the HR Team to administer important functions including cloud-based service requests, invoicing, education requests, and unemployment claims.

Responsibilities

  • Process data/status changes and termination requests submitted in HR case management platform.
  • Position modification, including partnering with HR People Partner (HRPP) to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the position.
  • Manage education assistance/reimbursement requests.
  • Manage purchasing orders and invoice payment process for defined groups within HR.
  • Manage unemployment claims, including uploading/submitting requested information and monitoring claims for updates.
  • Process legal entity/company transfers.
  • Audit requisitions for accuracy upon transition to onboarding and collaborate with HR People Partners (HRPPs) to implement necessary updates.
  • Pull reports in HRIS platform as requested.
  • Pull monthly new parent report and order gifts.
  • Partner with Sr HR Admin Generalist to answer frequently asked questions from new hires and team members, including standard policies, benefits, etc., as requested by HR People Partner.
  • Process commission plan letters, as applicable.
  • Serve as back up for New Team Member Orientation (NTMO).
  • Mentor for cross-training and development opportunities.
  • Serve as back-up/additional support to HR Admin Generalist.
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 4 years of administrative support experience, with HR support preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Information Systems such as SAP, Workday, UKG, or Oracle and reporting preferred.

Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Case Management and documentation management platforms.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively with team members of all levels.

Pay

The estimated wage range for this role based in Utah, North Carolina, and Missouri is between $27.50 – $34.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program.
