Supports the employee orientation process and ensures facility compliance with Discovery Behavioral Health's required protocols in alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
Responsibilities
- Conducts Employee Onboarding by collecting all required and state-specific documents.
- Works with third-party vendors to collect employee pre-employment clinic results and background checks.
- Engages with new hires and hiring leaders to meet onboarding needs, coordinating all new hire activities through scheduling, communication, and collaboration.
- Acts as the main point of contact for the pre-employment onboarding process, assisting with logistical challenges and answering questions at any stage.
- Monitors I-9 and HR completion to ensure compliance with Discovery's policies and procedures.
- Administers new hire accounts in all company information systems (e.g., email, Dayforce).
- Collaborates with facility management to ensure HR files meet compliance standards and provides reports outlining deficiencies.
- Collaborates with Joint Commission, Licensing, and CSQM departments to meet expectations, licensing, and state requirements.
- Manages state-specific employee rosters and updates employee files accordingly.
- Regularly monitors the Zoho ticketing system and handles incoming calls.
- Supports additional HR-related functions as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR-related field.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems preferred.
- Demonstrated HR knowledge and results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Ability to build and sustain trusting relationships with diverse individuals and groups.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with community organizations, patients, families, vendors, and other resources.
