Summary

The HR Shared Services Manager, Employee Experience is responsible for designing, operationalizing, implementing, and overseeing key employee programs across the entire employee lifecycle with a keen focus on employee self-service. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role requiring a leader who will modernize, streamline, and future-proof our People infrastructure to support growth.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline employee interaction by providing a single, digital-first portal for HR assistance, payroll data, and internal resources to eliminate manual inefficiencies.
  • Operationally support employee joining and leaving activities, specifically transition from pre-boarding to onboarding, off-boarding/terminations including involuntary terminations, documentation, final pay, and employment eligibility determination.
  • Lead the operational delivery and implementation of all health, dental, vision, disability, and retirement plans within the shared services framework. This includes hands-on vendor management, encompassing invoice management, plan funding and audits, monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) and call center performance, and managing service escalations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to all employees.
  • Strategically manage the centralized administration of all employee leaves (FMLA, short/long-term disability, parental, sick, and vacation policies). This includes overseeing the vendor relationship (Lincoln Financial), monitoring claim status, auditing pay accuracy in collaboration with Payroll and leading the interactive process for accommodations (ADA) ensuring strict compliance with all state and federal laws.
  • Maintain rigorous compliance oversight across jurisdictions, including multi-state registrations, Employer of Record (EOR) oversight, and leave policies, while ensuring accurate, timely internal and external regulatory reporting (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, EEOC).
  • Manage the delivery of engagement, recognition, performance, and training programs via platform administration (Docebo, LinkedIn learning, Spotlight, and Link). Collaborate with the COE’s to ensure delivery aligned with strategic program design.
  • Drive cross-OpCo harmonization and ensure policy consistency across all employee populations (plant, warehouse, remote, and HQ staff) by actively partnering with HR Centers of Excellence, IT, Finance, and Legal to proactively streamline processes, eliminate friction points, and ensure a smooth and wholesome employee experience throughout the lifecycle.
  • Provide proactive coaching and support to the employee population, delivering the tools and guidance necessary to enhance individual effectiveness and foster greater organizational awareness.

Education/Experience

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in HR operations.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of people management.
  • Demonstrated expertise with HRIS systems (Workday preferred), process improvement methodologies, project management, and data analysis.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing environments and understanding of unions preferred.

Pay

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications. Base Salary Range: $120,000-$165,000
