About the role

The HR Services Coordinator serves as the primary contact for partners, employees, former employees, and retirees regarding payroll, benefits, HR transactions, and policy-related questions. This role handles inquiries and problems to provide an exceptional employee experience and clear advice, utilizing knowledge base and case management tools.

Location

This hybrid position is available in our Phoenix, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, or Seattle office, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Human Resources, ensuring the AskHR experience meets operational excellence standards.
  • Assist managers and employees in navigating Workday and executing business process transactions.
  • Support day-to-day operations of HR functions, including HR Operations, Total Rewards, and Employee Relations.
  • Partner with colleagues and Centers of Excellence to execute tasks and fulfill key deliverables within assigned SLAs.
  • Research and resolve HR cases using the ServiceNow case management system, documenting case details and resolution.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of company benefit plans such as health insurance, 401(k), vacation, holidays, time tracking, and pay to respond to AskHR inquiries.
  • Adhere to departmental standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure data integrity within HR systems and a consistent employment experience.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, knowledgebase articles, and FAQs for all areas of accountability.
  • Maintain employee personnel records and other HR records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives within the assigned scope of work, proposing solutions to enhance HR support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and comfortably with all levels of staff, using discretion with sensitive information.
  • Preference for 2+ years of experience with benefits administration and HR policy administration.
  • Express curiosity in understanding processes, ask appropriate questions, and identify relevant resources; know when to escalate matters.
  • Identify ways to improve operational efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service focus centered on building an exceptional employee experience, including responding quickly to requests and acknowledging receipt when resolution is delayed.
  • Ability to work as part of a high-performance team with minimal supervision.
  • Invest in continuous self-improvement, volunteer for new assignments, take ownership of work, and produce quality work products.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel); preference for 2+ years of experience with Workday and ServiceNow or similar systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum: 2 years of experience in an HR administrative support role.

Physical Demands

This is primarily sedentary work, requiring occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. The role involves sitting for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing, and may include occasional domestic or international travel.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement combining remote and in-office work. The specific arrangement will be determined at the time of hiring and may be modified at the firm's discretion.

Pay

The expected hiring range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on the candidate’s geographic market location. Non-exempt positions are paid on an hourly basis with overtime in accordance with applicable laws. Compensation will also depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications.
