About the role

Applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

The HR Representative II is responsible for day-to-day management of Tier 1 & Tier 2 queries from across the organization related to HR Service Center helping employees to address concerns and solve HR issues in collaboration with office-based HR teams. Acts as a point of contact for timely and accurately resolving queries received through HR SNOW and/or emails and communicates back to the requestor. Extends support to the other HR team members in recruitment and staffing, personnel records, benefits, HRIS and training (if needed).

Responsibilities

  • Functions as a contact for human resources (HR)-related questions, concerns, and issues. Responds promptly to employee questions and concerns, or refers employees to the appropriate HR team when appropriate.
  • Develops and maintains professional, respectful, and trusting working relationships with employees and business leaders in order to provide effective HR support.
  • Create documentation for supported processes, and ensure those documents and procedures are consistent and accurate. Update SOPs and other documents as requested by the supervisor.
  • Provide end-to-end support of new hire administrative processes, ensuring quality assurance including SOX guidelines are maintained.
  • Resolve tier 0-2 incoming inquiries promoting the accuracy and integrity of employee records and data. Seamlessly direct incoming inquiries for resolution when escalation is required.
  • Maintains and/or ensures that employee personnel files are in compliance and up to date.
  • Provides basic HRIS administrative support through SNOW tickets. Provides relevant reports as per SNOW tickets. Administers HRIS tasks to include processing of new hires, rehires, terminations etc.
  • Conducts pre-employment assessments. Processes and ensures appropriate filing of relevant paperwork. Supports new employee orientation, ensuring all new employees are aware of company values, goals, policies and procedures. Processes applicable new hire paperwork.
  • Supporting coverage of rest of team as needed and providing support for other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: 2-3 years of related experience
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Attributes:
    • PC Skills: Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and Word
    • Other Skills: Adaptability, Detail Oriented, Customer Service Focused
    • Languages: English

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Attributes:
    • Technical Skills: HR systems experience (particularly Workday) is an asset.
    • PC Skills: SharePoint
    • Languages: Bi-lingual (Spanish)
