About the role
Rain for Rent® HR Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviews, & recruiting job applicants to fill exempt and non-exempt positions in a timely manner with highly qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with company leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.
- Maintain accurate candidate data in applicant tracking system.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders.
- Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house prospects to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
- Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates.
- Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
- Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position.
- Prescreens candidates by checking references and background checks.
- Create and present prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval.
- Interviews all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers, including the use of various interviewing methodologies.
- Prepares candidates for interviewing with specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.
- Discusses hiring needs with department/branch managers to prepare and implement recruitment program.
- Attends and represents the company at college career days and other recruitment events.
- Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of employment consideration.
- Projects yearly recruitment expenditures for budgetary control.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
This is an on-site (Bakersfield, California) in office Monday-Friday, full time position.
Qualifications
- Experience in recruiting and hiring processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other recruiting tools.
- Knowledge of legal compliance related to recruiting and employment practices.

Pay
$70,304 - $73,000 annually salary DOE
Schedule
Onsite presence at a Rain for Rent office and/or branch location. Except for limited circumstances, remote and/or hybrid options are not offered at this time.
