About the role
Client is seeking a senior HR PMO Project Manager to lead large-scale HR projects, governance, operational risk management, and data stewardship. This role plays a critical part in supporting the client’s global HR operating model, ensuring process quality, compliance, risk controls, and continuous improvement across HR services.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage multiple HR PMO projects to support the new HR operating model, defining scope, objectives, timelines, risks, and success metrics.
- Communicate project status, risks, and solutions to leadership and stakeholders.
- Partner with PMO, HR Technology, and HR Reporting teams on short- and long-term departmental goals.
- Lead project teams to meet service objectives, schedules, and deliverables.
- Drive improvements in HR processes, policies, governance frameworks, and documentation, including changes to PTO, staffing models, flex-time, and part-time policies.
- Work with leadership on staffing models, contingency planning, and disaster recovery.
- Lead HR data governance and stewardship across the organization, ensuring data classification, categorization, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with HR Policy, Risk Management, IT, and Compliance teams to support audits, risk assessments, key risk indicators (KRIs), and formal risk reviews.
- Lead vendor audits related to HR services and partner with Vendor Management, IT, InfoSec, Risk, Procurement, and Internal Audit teams.
- Monitor HR data transfers between client and vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory and risk standards.
- Provide leadership support to the PMO Lead, mentor team members, and drive global HR process alignment with regional HR leaders.
- Participate in special projects and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of business and/or HR experience.
- Understanding of HR processes and policies.
- Advanced knowledge of HR and data governance.
- Proven teamwork capabilities, strong relationship management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and identify when to engage others.
Pay
$66.00–$75.00 per hour.
