This role is part of the People Systems and Data product management team, focusing on Workday configuration activities within the HCM-Security domain. You will partner with HR Technology and global Communities of Expertise (COE) to maintain and enhance the Workday system and processes, ensuring system integrity and effective business process enablement.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with key global stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Manage the Workday configuration strategy in partnership with the HR Program Director.
- Lead and facilitate periodic meetings with global business advisory partners and configuration design sessions.
- Partner with internal technology teams and vendors to align processes with systems and tools.
- Develop proof of concepts based on business requirements and recommend efficient end-to-end business processes.
- Document business requirements and conduct system configuration functionality.
- Stay informed of the Workday roadmap and provide inputs into GPC’s Workday roadmap.
- Actively participate in the Workday Community and advocate for GPC business needs.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years’ configuration experience in one or more Workday modules: HCM (including Security).
- Functional expertise in one or more of these HR topic areas: HCM (including Security), Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Payroll, and/or Talent & Recruiting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives, responding with urgency to the most critical needs.
- Strong collaboration skills, including exchanging information with appropriate stakeholders, following through on tasks, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Team-oriented mindset with enthusiasm and commitment to shared goals and objectives.
