HR OPERATIONS COORDINATOR The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function and serves as a key resource for employees, managers, and the HR team. This position is responsible for coordinating routine HR activities, maintaining accurate employee records and HR data, supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, administering HR programs and services, and assisting with HR systems, including the Learning Management System (LMS). You will foster strong collaboration and coordination among HR Operations, HR Managers, Marotta Managers, employees, and LMS users to ensure consistent service delivery, accurate information, and operational agility in support of Marotta’s business priorities. The HR Coordinator will report directly to the Director, HR Operations. Essential Responsibilities HR Administration & Employee Support HR Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to HR Operations, including employee record maintenance, HR documentation, correspondence, forms, and special projects.Employee & Manager Support: Respond to employee and manager inquiries, provide general HR support, and route questions or issues to the appropriate HR team member as needed.HR Programs & Services: Administer recurring HR programs and services, including monthly credit card validation, employment verifications, monthly business card orders, newborn and bereavement program administration, and related employee support activities.Compliance & Operational Support: Assist with HR audits, reporting, data accuracy, and other administrative responsibilities and projects as needed to support HR Operations. New Hire Onboarding Coordinate and administer the end-to-end onboarding process for all new hires, rehires, transfers, interns, and contract workers Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during the pre-employment and onboarding process Prepare and distribute onboarding communications, orientation schedules, and new hire materials Facilitate and/or coordinate new hire orientation programs, ensuring employees receive required information, policies, and resources Partner with Hiring Managers, HR Managers, IT, Security and Facilities, to ensure timely completion of onboarding activities Maintain onboarding checklists, standard operating procedures, and process documentation. Track onboarding metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency Assist with employee communications and HR announcements. LMS Administration LMS System Administration: Administer and maintain the Litmos LMS, including system configuration, user access, data integrity, functionality, updates, and ongoing system optimization.Training & Content Management: Manage employee training assignments, learning paths, curricula, courses, certifications, and learning content; partner with content owners and SMEs to ensure materials remain accurate and current.Reporting & Compliance: Monitor training participation, completion, certifications, and compliance; maintain training records and develop/distribute reports and dashboards to identify trends and gaps.Support & Continuous Improvement: Serve as the primary LMS support resource, troubleshoot issues with IT/vendors, maintain procedures and documentation, and recommend and implement system and process improvements. Required Qualifications 2–4 years of HR, administrative, or related experience.Ability to learn and effectively use HRIS, LMS, and other HR technology platforms.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with an HRIS and/or Learning Management System.Experience supporting employee onboarding and orientation.Experience with HR data entry, reporting, and record maintenance.Experience in a shared services or HR operations environment.Familiarity with payroll, benefits, timekeeping, or other HR processes. Pay Range: $67K- $75K Many of our contracts require proof that you are a U.S. citizen and/or that an export license has been obtained for employees who are citizens of certain countries.
