Job Duties

  • Manage and maintain associate data, ensuring accuracy, compliance with policies, and seamless processing across HR systems.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing HR-related inquiries from associates, managers, and stakeholders with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Ensure all new hires complete required onboarding tasks, with a focus on I-9 verification and compliance documentation.
  • Work closely with HR team members to streamline workflows, identify opportunities for automation, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide training and guidance to HR team members on HR systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Aid in administering leave of absence processes, managing communications, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support benefits administration tasks, including processing Workers' Compensation claims, managing Employment Development Department (EDD) paperwork, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Gather and analyze data for audits related to Payroll, Legal, and compliance requirements.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality standards in handling associate and organizational data.
  • Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle HCM and other HR systems.
  • Participate in testing and implementing system updates and new features within Oracle HCM to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Performs a wide range of duties related to processing and maintaining associate data.
  • Interacts with and provides information to job applicants, associates, management and public/private agencies.
  • Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all associate information.
  • Provides administrative and operational support to members of the HR team.
  • Demonstrates courtesy, diplomacy and tact in interactions with internal and external customers.
  • Adheres to College/University policies and procedures and conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Companies Code of Ethical Conduct, Compliance Agreement, Sexual Harassment Policy or any of its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
  • Maintains regular and timely attendance, reports to work as scheduled and as required to meet the needs of the Company and assures time worked and/or time-off is recorded properly.
  • Exercises care, proper use and maintenance of department equipment and supplies and identifies unsafe conditions and makes appropriate adjustments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR operations or a related field.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
    • Experience with HRIS systems such as Oracle HCM.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
    • Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
