Scope of Tasks — Prepare Phase
- Review SAP S/4HANA 2025 Readiness Check findings across FI/CO, MM, and HCM functional areas.
- Identify and document simplification items requiring remediation prior to Explore Phase, including:
- Duplicate internal asset line items (FAAT_DOC_IT)
- Deprecation of DMEE Payment Medium Formats
- Material Ledger deprecated table for currency and valuation types
- Profitability Segment Number Change
- Type Configuration Changes in Group Reporting
- New Customizing for Exchange Rate Difference Handling
- HCM Obsolete Packages (SI19)
- SuccessFactors Employee Central Integration (SI28)
- Confirm organizational structure carryover across two company codes — and validate master data volumes (materials, storage locations, plants).
- Assess FI-CA configuration and integration points with FI/CO and HCM in the current S/4HANA 2020 landscape and document upgrade impacts (customer-confirmed scope).
- Conduct initial review of Inventory Management configuration and Basic EWM scope.
- Assess the current warehouse setup — one warehouse location, storage locations, plants — and confirm carryover approach.
- Identify any MM-related simplification item impacts and document findings for Explore Phase.
- Review the Payroll configuration across both company codes in preparation for three Payroll Parallel test cycles in Realize Phase.
- Confirm replication testing requirements between SuccessFactors Employee Central and S/4HANA 2025.
- Understand 3rd party tool setup for out-of-the-box integrations.
Project Planning & Workstream Setup
- Contribute to the project RACI, RAID Log, and Communication Plan for the FI/CO, MM, and HCM workstreams.
- Define the workstream approach, milestones, and resource plan in alignment with the SAP Project Manager.
