About the role
HR Recruit is excited to be partnering with a fast growing organisation looking to recruit their first stand alone HR Manager. Reporting into the Interim MD, this is a fantastic opportunity to shape the HR function as the business expands. You'll work closely with senior leadership, managers, and colleagues across the business to deliver effective HR processes and ensure compliance with UK employment legislation.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, providing clear, timely HR advice and support.
- Partner with line managers to develop effective people leadership, offering guidance, coaching, and support on employee matters.
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, interviewing, onboarding, and issuing employment contracts.
- Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, right-to-work requirements, employment contracts, HR policies, and internal audits.
- Develop, maintain, and update HR policies, procedures, and processes across all business entities.
- Provide training and development initiatives to enhance employee capability and support organisational growth.
- Drive employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Support payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely HR data.
- Prepare HR reports, monitor key people metrics, and provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Advise senior leaders on HR best practice, organisational development, and changes in employment legislation.
Person Specification
- Hands on with a can do attitude
- A minimum of 3 years proven experience as a HR professional
- Strong, up to date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing employee relations cases end-to-end
- Experience implementing and updating HR policies and processes
- Stand alone experience would be a benefit
Pay
£50,000-£60,000.
