About the role

This is an onsite HR Manager position headquartered in Pompano Beach, FL, reporting directly to the COO. The role oversees daily HR operations, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, policy development, compliance, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full talent acquisition life cycle, from hiring to development.
  • Partner with leaders to forecast and develop a talent pipeline through social media, networking events, mentorship programs, and community outreach.
  • Drive employee-centric activities to improve engagement and retention.
  • Guide managers through performance management, including developing and communicating performance improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, including affirmative action plans.
  • Assist senior management in developing, implementing, and interpreting policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Conduct yearly assessments of benefits, PEO partners, and health plans for viability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and follow-up for direct hires.
  • Oversee onboarding for all new hires across the U.S.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Collaborate with management and employees to improve work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Oversee biweekly payroll.
  • Facilitate the annual performance review and merit increase cycle.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrated human resource management experience.
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Active PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification highly desired.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, including EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and workers’ compensation.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) and HRIS systems like CoAdvantage or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving, research, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Superb communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

This is an onsite position; no remote or hybrid options are available at this time. Employment is contingent upon successful drug and background screening.
