HR Manager
Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing Human Resources support for all employees to ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations, laws, company policies, and safety plans. The Human Resources Manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Essential Functions
Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.
Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts through investigations, and promoting open communication.
Partner with hiring managers to attract, interview, and onboard qualified candidates for plant operations and functional support roles.
Career Development: Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills, safety awareness, and leadership capabilities.
Retention Strategies: Develop retention strategies and succession planning initiatives.
Performance Management: Support managers in conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and managing employee development plans.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
Indicators: Monitor and report on key HR indicators such as turnover, absenteeism, and training effectiveness.
Organizational Effectiveness: Drive organizational effectiveness through workforce planning and talent strategies.
Leadership Coaching: Coach leadership on goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
Safety Compliance: Partner with EHS teams to ensure safety compliance in the workplace as well as managing open workers compensation cases.
Required Skills
Previous experience with AAP, compensation, benefits administration, and human capital planning.
Solid knowledge of FMLA, benefits administration, and rewards and recognition programs for the workforce.
Demonstrated ability to develop, relentlessly execute and deliver results in conformance with action plans.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities.
Strong oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and leadership skills.
Able to work flexible hours.
