About the role
We’re looking for an experienced, people-driven HR Manager to join our leadership team. This role is a key partner to operations, helping shape a high-performance culture where safety, engagement, and accountability drive results every day.
As the Human Resource Manager for Novares, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives throughout the facility. You will partner with our operations team to develop strategies and action plans to drive improvement of HR/People metrics.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support all areas of HR including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance
- Partner with plant and corporate leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals
- Champion talent management initiatives by leading the performance management process, talent acquisition, and talent development for exempt & non-exempt levels for operations employees
- Analyze trends and metrics on turnover, tenure, development, engagement survey data, and other relevant information to develop solutions, programs, and policies required to attract, align, develop, and retain talent
- Proactively consult with function leaders, providing advice on execution of HR processes, support on talent development, team member performance, reorganizations, and terminations
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating existing processes and focusing on improvement of tools, digitization, and process controls to increase overall efficiency of the HR function
- Manage employee relations issues, build engagement, and resolve employee concerns effectively
- Leverage our values, key culture concepts, and guiding behaviors to drive accountability and employee engagement
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that values continuous improvement and employee development
Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or automotive environment
- Strong understanding of U.S. labor laws and best practices in employee relations
- Proven ability to coach leaders, build trust across teams, and influence outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet established deadlines
- Organizational and documentation skills
- Ethical practice
- A hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for problem-solving and people
