About the role
This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical ability with hands-on experience administering benefits programs and interpreting leave-related processes. The role requires advanced Excel skills and a detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate records, reviewing data, and helping employees navigate compensation and benefits matters.
Responsibilities
- Administer day-to-day compensation and benefits activities, ensuring employee information and program details remain accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate benefits-related processes, including enrollments, updates, and issue resolution, while providing timely support to employees and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, validate accuracy, and support informed decision-making.
- Manage leave-related documentation and tracking, including FMLA matters, in alignment with established policies and applicable guidelines.
- Build, maintain, and review Excel reports using tools such as Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP to reconcile records and support reporting needs.
- Partner with HR and other business teams to address questions related to pay, benefits coverage, and program administration.
- Investigate discrepancies in benefits or compensation records and take corrective action to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and supporting documentation for ongoing HR compensation and benefits initiatives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in compensation and benefits administration within an HR environment.
- Working knowledge of benefits coordination, benefits analysis, and core benefit functions.
- Experience handling FMLA-related processes and maintaining appropriate documentation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to review data accurately and resolve inconsistencies.
- Effective communication skills for supporting employees and collaborating with internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organization in a high-volume administrative setting.
