Responsibilities
- Aids HR Director/Manager with managing day-to-day operations.
- Provides complex Human Resources support to all levels in the organization.
- Ensures comprehensive administration of human resources policy and procedures.
- Supports the HR Director/Manager in aligning HR initiatives with hospital goals.
- Serves as a strategic partner to hospital leadership, offering expert guidance and support.
- Collaborates with department heads to ensure a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Assists with disputes, investigations/grievances, and recommends necessary resolutions or disciplinary actions.
- In unionized facilities, manages relationships with unionized staff and ensures compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or closely related field required.
- PHR, SPHR or relevant Human Resources certifications, or advanced degree, preferred.
- 5 years’ experience in Human Resources required, with focus on employee relations and/or labor relations experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining processes.
- Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of material with attention to detail.
- Computer knowledge that includes Excel, Word, Outlook.
