About the role
Molex is seeking an HR Business Partner to support the Optical Solutions Business Unit (OSBU). This role involves leading strategic and operational HR initiatives, aligning with business strategy to enhance organizational effectiveness, talent development, and a high-performance culture. The HRBP also champions the company's culture, promoting Principle Based Management (PBM).
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with leadership to understand business priorities, technology roadmap, and talent needs, translating them into effective people strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to supervisors on organization design, manpower planning, and scaling teams in support of growth and innovation.
- Coach managers on setting clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations, delivering effective feedback, and developing capability within teams.
- Drive talent management, succession planning, and individual development discussions, developing and maintaining a pipeline for succession planning to ensure future leadership and skill continuity.
- Act as a steward of PBM culture by reinforcing values such as integrity, respect, compliance, and long-term value creation, partnering with employees at all levels to grow their knowledge and application of PBM.
- Support the recruitment process in partnership with talent acquisition team, hiring manager, and leveraging recruiting capabilities to attract top talent.
- Ensure good new hire experience, including 90 days check-in and training programs.
- Support core HR processes including compensation planning, headcount planning, 360 feedback, etc., leveraging HR data and insights to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Manage employee relations matters, including performance improvement, investigation, and conflict resolution, exercising sound judgment and discretion.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and full compliance with California and Federal employment laws.
- Aid with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HRBP experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager roles.
- Strong working knowledge of California employment law and employee relations best practices.
- Demonstrate ability to influence and partner with leaders.
- Experience in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data, advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting optics, photonics, semiconductor, hardware, or advanced manufacturing organizations.
- Past experience working in technical or engineering-driven organizations.
- Advanced skills in data analytics, proven track record to link HR strategy with HR data analytics.

Pay
$130,000 - $170,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
Schedule
The role is based in Fremont, CA, supporting Americas focused human resources initiatives, with occasional travel up to 10% domestically.
