About the role
The Human Resources Associate at Hyundai Translead supports various HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, employee data management, and new hire onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Aid in payroll processing by collecting, calculating, and entering data into the company's payroll system.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
- Enter and verify manual checks and payroll adjustments.
- Perform routine audits of payroll, benefits, and employee records for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage and process employee events such as salary changes.
- Audit and maintain Paid Time Off balances.
- Administer W-2 and 1095 forms annually.
- Assist with benefit plan administration, renewal, and open enrollment.
- Actively manage and maintain HRIS and employee personnel records.
- Maintain accurate record keeping for compliance purposes.
- Communicate with new hires and assist with onboarding paperwork and orientation.
- Provide general HR information and support to employees.
- Generate and distribute standard HR reports and workforce information.
- Participate in and support HR initiatives and communications.
Requirements
- High school diploma with minimum 3 years of progressive experience in HR administrative functions.
- Previous experience using HRIS for timekeeping and payroll.
- Knowledge of Human Resources policies and relevant employment laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Extremely detail-oriented.
