Job Summary
Hyundai Translead's Human Resources Associate is responsible for providing assistance with Human Resources related functions such as payroll, benefits administration, employee data and record management, and new hire onboarding and orientation, and act as a resource to company employees as needed. This position works cross-functionally with other departments across the organization to ensure smooth and efficient business processes and functions.
Payroll
- Aid in payroll by collecting, calculating, and entering data into company’s payroll system
- Verify attendance, hours worked, pay adjustments, and resolve any discrepancies
- Process employee events such as salary changes
- Aid in administering W-2 forms annually
- Maintain Paid Time Off balances and audit for accuracy
Benefits
- Aid in employee benefit administration such as enrollment of new hires, billing inquires, and employee status changes in benefits portals (eligibility changes, department changes, address changes, etc. for 401K, medical, dental, vision, etc.)
- Aid in administering 1095 forms annually
- Aid in administering leaves of absence
- Aid in benefit plan administration, renewal, and open enrollment
Employee Data and Record Management
- Actively manage and maintain company HRIS and employee personnel records
- Maintain accurate record keeping for compliance purposes
- Maintain and process confidential and sensitive electronic and hard copy human resource records
Onboarding and New Hire Orientation
- Assist with communicating with new hires and ensuring completion of onboarding paperwork upon hire
- Assist with new hire orientation
- Partner with company’s inside legal team for a thorough introduction to the company
Other
- Assist employees with general inquiries regarding company policies/procedures and general Human Resources information
- Escalate as needed
- Aid with Human Resources initiatives and communication
- Escalate non-routing issues to more senior Human Resources team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma
- Competent in the use of Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to write concisely, persuasively, and to clearly summarize information
- Proven ability to work independently and balance multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Preferred Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
