Job Summary

The HR Associate provides essential administrative and technical support to ensure smooth, daily human resources operations. This role serves as a professional first point of contact for internal employees and external inquiries, quickly routing requests to the proper team members. The HR Associate assists the HR department with managing digital platforms, maintaining secure employee records, and handling special projects. Additionally, this position assists the Talent Acquisition department with applicant tracking, job postings, onboarding processes, and other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the HR Shared Service Center ticket system by thoroughly reviewing incoming employee requests, assessing needs, and routing them to the appropriate departmental specialist for quick resolution, while serving as a professional point of contact and providing front-desk back-up coverage as needed.
  • Maintain a secure online digital archive by scanning, indexing, and organizing physical employee files, while conducting regular file auditing and maintenance to ensure total accuracy, data privacy, and easy digital access for the team.
  • Support the talent acquisition team by actively screening applications, maintaining the ATS system, tracking onboarding requirements for candidates, publishing jobs on company career pages, and orienting new hires as needed.
  • Deliver comprehensive administrative and technical assistance to HR department staff to ensure smooth daily operations while successfully navigating digital platforms to manage internal content.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for internal employees and external inquiries alike, while multi-tasking, adapting efficiently to shifting daily priorities in a fast-paced environment, assisting HR managers with projects as needed, and performing other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • High school graduate required with two years’ general office experience. Associate Degree preferred.
  • Computer literacy required. Must be effective in written and oral communication.
  • Has ability to be flexible in working habits. Adapt/recognize priorities as necessary.
  • Works effectively with others, possessing tact and discretion and demonstrates high level of confidentiality in all matters.
  • Certified in navigation and use of Social Media platforms, digital and print content.

Working Conditions

  • Substantial sitting, standing, stooping, bending, lifting (not to exceed 25 lbs.) and pushing objects.
  • At times may be subject to high levels of stress.
  • Requires considerable mental effort and logical thought processing.
