About the role
The Community Spay & Neuter Clinic at Dakin Humane Society is seeking a dedicated Spay & Neuter Veterinarian to join our team. As a full-time or part-time member of our surgical team, you will perform up to 30–40 high-quality spay and neuter procedures daily, contributing to the reduction of pet overpopulation and improving the lives of animals in our community.
Responsibilities
- Perform up to 30–40 high-quality spay and neuter surgeries per day

- Provide exceptional surgical and medical care
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
- Current Massachusetts veterinary license (or the ability to obtain one within three months), including Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
- Experience performing canine and feline spay and neuter surgeries is preferred; high-volume, pediatric surgery, and shelter medicine experience are a plus

Pay
$115,000 to $125,000 - Additional compensation consideration may be given to candidates with significant surgical experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time job, but we also consider part-time applications.
