About the Role

Participates in planning, policy development and priority setting. Ensures that nursing and other assigned clinical areas have policies that are consistent with the overall goals of the health system. Ensures compliance in the provision of care to quality and safety standards. Maintains a competent workforce adhering to regulatory guidelines (financial, employment, AHCA and JCAHO) and established national standards of care. Collaborates with other directors, administrators, medical staff and other departments to provide and maintain optimal services in a cost-effective manner. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Education: MSN or BSN and a Master's Degree in a related field.
• Experience: 4 years in Healthcare Leadership or 3 years in Nursing Leadership with MSN or Doctorate in Nursing and RN Certification.
• Credentials: RN (Registered Nurse); Preferred Nurse Specialist.
