HPT Production Worker 3rd shift

About the role

Chromalloy New York is seeking Production Workers for its 3rd shift operation. This is an hourly position with Local 475, offering a rate of pay of $21.56/hr with a 15% premium for 3rd shift hours. Shifts are Sunday through Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:00am.

Responsibilities

• Use hand, power, and machine tools to facilitate the preparation, cleaning, and processes of molds, equipment, parts, assemblies, or machinery.
• Crosstrain on operations within multiple areas.
• Perform job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Full participation in safety training and understanding and following the directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background preferred.
• Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to use hand tools and gauges (previous experience preferred).

Physical Demands

• Regularly: Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Frequently: Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a typical manufacturing environment.
• The employee may also occasionally be exposed to moderate cold and moderate heat.
• Exposure to the production facility includes loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
