HPT Production Worker 2nd shift

About the role

Chromalloy New York is seeking Production Workers for its 2nd Shift. This is an hourly position with Local 475, offering a rate of pay of $21.56/hr with a 10% differential for 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Use hand, power, and machine tools to facilitate the preparation, cleaning, and processes of molds, equipment, parts, assemblies, or machinery.
• Crosstrain on operations within multiple areas.
• Regular attendance is an essential job function.
• Perform job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Full participation in safety training and understanding and following the directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background preferred.
• Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to use hand tools and gauges (previous experience preferred).
• Physical Demands: Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds; frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms.
• Work Environment: Exposure to a typical manufacturing environment, including loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
