Production Worker 2nd Shift

About the role

Support plant production needs for daily operation, changeovers, and outbound shipments. Primarily responsible for assisting in the packaging of products for internal and external use, and assisting in changeover with other production teammates.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements.
• Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within the required time.
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.
• Report all production waste to the Production Lead or Supervisor.
• Be responsible for safety and quality throughout production.
• Notify a Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
• Perform other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Understanding of plant safety guidelines and successful completion of required safety training.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Capability to troubleshoot problems and report issues.
• Strong teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to be on feet up to 8–12 hours per shift.
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job functions.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and climb.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lb.
