Summary
Under immediate supervision, learns, shadows, and provides support to the Healthcare Professional Liability team.
Responsibilities
- Initial review and analysis of transaction submissions, including reviewing financial statements, business operational information, and purchase agreements
- Assess transaction risks and prepare preliminary terms for policy indications
- Assist Underwriters in managing deal pipeline, including managing and maintaining electronic underwriting files, producing indications, coordinating due diligence process with outside counsel and accountants, and preparing insurance policies for issuance
- Attend marketing events, business development events, and group strategy sessions
Qualifications
- Working toward a Bachelor's degree and either be a current or recent enrollee in relevant field
- Spring 2028 graduation strongly preferred
- 60 hours of general college coursework with a minimum 3.0 GPA
Skills

- Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
