HPC - System Administrator - Linux CLI, Bash, Splunk

Description We are seeking a System Administrator who shall be responsible for providing support for a large-scale Linux system including installation of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the compute, network, memory, and storage system components. In addition, the System Administrator shall maintain the system security integrity and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Clearance A current Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph security clearance (within 7 years) is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position. Experience Fifteen (15) years' experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Required Skills Experience using the Linux CLIExperience developing scripts using Bash/PythonExperience in performing System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a large-scale Linux cluster environmentGeneral technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system componentsExperience with Red Hat Satellite systems management solutionFamiliarity using Splunk for ingesting, indexing, searching, monitoring, and analyzing big dataExperience with the sustainment and support of large Linux clusters including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution Experience configuring and sustaining VMware ESXi/Virtualization environmentsExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack and Ansible Experience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and proceduresExperience using system monitoring tools such as HPE One View and Nagios Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker Desired Skills Experience with container orchestration technologies such as KubernetesExperience with distributed files systems such as Weka, CEPH, GPFS, and HDFSExperience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence Benefits Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $240,000 - $265,000.
